Edmonton Oilers Make Series of Moves
The Edmonton Oilers have made multiple roster moves. The Oilers have called up Philip Broberg, Raphael Lavoie, and Adam Erne to their NHL roster. They also placed Dylan Holloway and Mattias Janmark on LTIR.
Broberg, 22, has made eight appearances for the Oilers this season, where he has a minus-1 rating and zero points. He will now look to impress during this latest call-up and hopes to stick around with the NHL squad in the process.
Lavoie has made five appearances for Edmonton this season, posting zero points and a minus-1 rating. This is a good chance for the 23-year-old to show that he is ready for a bottom-six role.
As for Erne, he also has played for Edmonton this season, posting zero points and minus-1 rating in six games.
Holloway's LTIR placement is not surprising, as Jason Gregor reported that he is supposed to miss a few months. Meanwhile, Janmark's placement is retroactive to Oct. 26 and the forward has yet to resume skating.
