Flyers' Noah Cates to Miss Significant Time

Tough news out of Philadelphia, as Flyers forward Noah Cates will be out for six to eight weeks due to a lower-body injury.

This is certainly tough news for Cates, as this is a big season for the young forward's development. Yet, due to this injury, it will now be put on pause for a pretty significant amount of time.

Cates has had a rough 2023-24 campaign so far, as he has one goal and three assists to go along with a minus-3 rating in 21 games this season. This is certainly a drop in production, as he had 38 points in 82 games as a rookie last season for the Flyers.

The hope is that Cates' recovery will go swimmingly and that he will make a bigger impact once he is back on the ice for the Flyers later this season. There is no question that he has the potential to be an impactful player.

We will need to wait and see what lineup changes Philly makes to replace Cates from here.
