Flyers Provide Promising Carter Hart Update
Earlier this week, the expectation was that Carter Hart would miss multiple weeks due to his mid-body injury. However, the Philadelphia Flyers issued a promising update regarding the star netminder, noting that he is now only expected to be out day-to-day.
Hart left his last appearance against the Buffalo Sabres early due to his injury, and it was naturally
concerning. This is because Hart is a big reason for any success that the Flyers will have this season, as he is one of their top players. However, instead of missing a good chunk of time, he should be back very shortly. This is naturally wonderful news for the rebuilding Flyers.
However, not all of today's news has been positive, as they also announced that Sean Couturier will be out day-to-day. While his injury appears to be a short-term one, there will always be eyebrows raised when he gets injured, as he missed significant time over the last two seasons.
Here's to hoping that both Hart and Couturier recover on schedule and get back into game action very shortly.
