“F****n’ Unacceptable!”: Pat Maroon GOES OFF On Teammates As Losses Mount
The Minnesota Wild are hitting new depths this season, now 0-5-2 in their last seven, and one veteran—new to the team this season—does not like what he sees, to say the least. Pat Maroon absolutely blasted his teammates for a lack of pride as tension mounts in Minny:
The #mnwild have lost seven in a row... 3x Stanley Cup winner Pat Maroon said the skip is *bleeping* unacceptable. 🤬🤬🤬 pic.twitter.com/nSWCOqY43R

Seven in a row. F****n' unacceptable… Guys should be pissed off.
“Honestly, I don’t even know what to say anymore,” Maroon said. “We just need more pride. It comes down to pride and wanting it. It’s frustrating in here. Seven in a row? That’s f—— unacceptable, especially with the group of guys in here. It’s not good enough. We should be pissed off right now. We should be pissed off when we play the game, put our skates out, and understand what’s at stake here. We’re losing points by the freaking second, and it’s frustrating.”
The Wild obtained the 13-year veteran in a trade from the Tampa Bay Lightning this past offseason as a glue piece for their lineup. "I think Pat really knows how to pull guys into the battle," Wild general manager Bill Guerin said at the time. "I think that might have been an element that we were missing last year... I'm looking forward to seeing him interact with our group and see what he adds. I like him because he's a no (nonsense) guy. He's going to say what's on his mind, and at times it might ruffle some feathers and that's OK. It's just something you need."
Well, Guerin is certainly getting what he expected. Now the question is, can the struggling Wild respond?
Their seven-game winless streak has seen them plummet to 5-10-4, 7th place in the Central Division.
