Kraken Call Up Top Prospect Shane Wright

The Seattle Kraken have called up top prospect Shane Wright and forward Ryan Winterton to their NHL roster.

Wright is obviously the big name out of this duo being called up, as he was the Kraken's fourth-overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft and is expected to blossom into a big talent at the NHL level. The 19-year-old appeared in eight games for the club last season, where he had two points. So far with the Coachella Valley Firebirds, he has four goals and six points in seven games.

This call-up will give Kraken fans the chance to see how much Wright has improved from last season.

As for Winterton, the 6-foot-2 forward has five points in seven games this season with the Firebirds. This is solid production, but especially when noting that this is his first professional season. Let's see if the kid can impress during this promotion from here.
