Lightning's Conor Sheary Set to Miss Time
The Tampa Bay Lightning will be without Conor Sheary for at least a week, as the winger has been placed on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.
Sheary left the Lightning's game against the Canadiens early after being with a shot in the wrist, and now we know that he will be forced to miss time because of it. This is not ideal news, as Sheary is a solid part of Tampa Bay's forward group.
Sheary has had a little bit of a slow start with the Bolts this season, however, as he has one goal and three points in 13 games. This is likely due to him still getting used to his new club, as he showed with the Washington Capitals that he can be a quality middle-six forward.
Here's to hoping that Sheary has a speedy recovery and can get back into game action very soon. The Bolts are dealing with enough injury trouble as it is, especially with Andrei Vasilevskiy still sidelined.
