Maple Leafs Rumors: Patrick Kane to Toronto Heating Up

The chances of a potential Patrick Kane signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs may have increased, as the future Hall of Famer met with the Original Six club today (Nov. 14), according to John Shannon.

The Maple Leafs have been connected to Kane since the offseason, and this meeting only continues to show their interest in the star winger. With that, it appears that Kane is at least open to the idea of being a Maple Leaf, as he met with the team.

There are several other teams currently linked to Kane, including the Florida Panthers, Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, Carolina Hurricanes, Dallas Stars, and Colorado Avalanche. Due to this, the sweepstakes are still very much on, but it's also hard to ignore this meeting with the Leafs.

We will now need to wait and see if the Maple Leafs end up signing Kane from here. However, they will need to be creative to fit him in.
