New York Rangers' Adam Fox Out Long-Term
Bad news out of The Big Apple, as the New York Rangers have placed star d-man Adam Fox on long-term injured reserve (LTIR).
With this news, Fox will now need to miss at least 10 games and 24 days. Fox left the Rangers' last game against the Carolina Hurricanes early due to injury, and, unfortunately for the Blueshirts, they now know that he is going to miss a pretty decent chunk of time.
Fox has had a strong start to the season, posting 11 points in 10 games. Yet, his hot start will now need to be put on pause due to this development.
Filip Chytil has also been placed on regular injured reserve. Due to this, he will miss a week of action. Needless to say, the injury bug is biting the Rangers right now. We will now need to wait and see how well New York does without these two players from here.
