NHL Rumors: New Team Enters Patrick Kane Sweepstakes
According to Larry Brooks of The New York Post, the Tampa Bay Lightning are among the teams interested in Patrick Kane and plan to meet with the future Hall of Famer this week.

The Lightning certainly could use another top-six forward on their roster right now, as they lost Alex Killorn to the Anaheim Ducks this offseason. Due to this, there is a clear spot in the Lightning's top six at right wing that Kane could fill out perfectly.
Kane has made it known that he wants to play for a contender. At this time, the Lightning have a 6-4-4 record, but their somewhat slow start can be blamed on Andrei Vasilevskiy being out. When fully healthy, they still have the core to win, so Kane certainly could consider signing there.
We will now need to wait and see if the Lightning's interest in Kane leads to them signing the three-time Stanley Cup champion from here.
