Oilers Rumors: 2 Potential Landing Spots for Jack Campbell

After being placed on waivers, Jack Campbell's time with the Edmonton Oilers seems to be nearing its end. While a waiver claim is very unlikely, there could be teams out there willing to take on his contract if it means landing some extra assets for doing so. Let's discuss two teams who could be willing to do just that.

Philadelphia Flyers: The Flyers have already been linked to Campbell, as it has been established that they are open to taking on bad contracts to help their rebuild by adding either a high draft pick or notable prospect. Thus, do not be surprised if Philly is in the mix for Campbell. Keep in mind, Carter Hart is a trade candidate and has been connected to Edmonton.

San Jose Sharks: The Sharks are another team who could be willing to do the Oilers a solid by bringing in Campbell if it means getting some quality assets for doing so. The Sharks have been historically bad to start the new season and could use another option between the pipes as well because of it.

Let's see if either of these two teams end up bringing in Campbell from here.
