Oilers Rumors: Jay Woodcroft's Days Could be Numbered Behind the Bench in Edmonton

The Edmonton Oilers have hit rock bottom and no everybody waits to see how long it's going to take for them to get back up. The Oilers recently lost to the bottom-feeding San Jose Sharks and now everybody is on coach watch as Jay Woodcroft's seat couldn't be hotter and it couldn't be sitting on ice that is any thinner.

It's no secret that management is considering making a major move and Woodcroft's job may be in jeopardy. Even with his impressive winning percentage since taking over behind the bench, a trade may not solve the Oilers woes and a move which changes their system and entire room dynamic could be needed.

Things have gone bad to worse for the Oilers and after the latest loss to the Sharks, Woodcroft was seen chatting with Assistant Coach Dave Manson, as the two walked across the ice to leave and it appears they know what could be coming...
