Panthers Receive Positive Sam Bennett News
The Florida Panthers are getting a big boost for their game against the Chicago Blackhawks. Panthers head coach Paul Maurice confirmed to reporters that forward Sam Bennett will be back in the lineup for the Cats in this one.
Bennett has only played in one game this season due to injury. When noting that the Panthers have other notable names like Aaron Ekblad and Brandon Montour sidelined, it is great news that Bennett is finally good to go. He is a key part of their forward group and will be relied upon on both their power play and penalty kill.
Bennett is coming off of a solid 2022-23 season that saw him post 16 goals and 40 points in 63 games. Getting that kind of production back in the lineup with be big for the Panthers, and they are now another step closer to sporting a full club because of it.
Let's see how much of an impact Bennett can make for the Panthers in his return and onward from here.
