Predators Receive Good Ryan McDonagh News

The Nashville Predators have been given some good injury news, as Ryan McDonagh is likely ready to return to action for the club, according to Nashville Hockey Now's Michael Gallagher. 

The Predators also sent down defenseman Marc Del Gaizo to the American Hockey League (AHL), so that is a pretty big indicator that McDonagh will be back in the lineup for the Preds this weekend.

While McDonagh does not produce the same offense from the point that he once did, he is still a very effective top-four defenseman because of his excellent defensive play. With the Predators off to a brutal start this season, getting a player like McDonagh back is certainly good news.

McDonagh has played in 10 games this season with the Predators, where he has two assists. We will now need to wait and see how much of an impact he can make for the team now that he is good to go from here.
