The San Jose Sharks are set to make several trades this season after their truly horrible start to the 2023-24 campaign. Due to this, one player who will likely be dealt is forward Mikael Granlund. Let’s discuss two teams who could target him now.

New Jersey Devils: The Devils could be a team to watch in the Granlund sweepstakes. When looking at their roster, it is fair to argue that they could use another bottom-six forward who can produce offensively, and Granlund does that when playing at his best. With that, he would also be a fit for their power play.

Buffalo Sabres: The Sabres could look to add to their forward group during this season, and Granlund would be an interesting add for them. They could use another veteran forward in their lineup as they look to get back into the playoffs, and he would give them just that.
