Stars Rumors: Radek Faksa Becoming Trade Candidate

The Dallas Stars are in the hunt for Patrick Kane, and freeing up some salary would help their chances of landing the star forward. Due to this, forward Radek Faksa is a player to watch in trade talks.

Faksa was in the rumor mill during the offseason, but the Stars could not find a team to take on his contract. However, things could certainly change on that front during the season but especially if the Stars tack on a sweetener or two.

The Anaheim Ducks, Chicago Blackhawks, San Jose Sharks, and Philadelphia Flyers are four specific teams to watch when it comes to Faksa.

Although Faksa’s offensive numbers have dropped off pretty noticeably over the last couple seasons, he could be a nice bottom-six forward to add. This is especially so when noting that he is a solid defensive player who can work on the penalty kill.
