BREAKING: Taylor Hall To Undergo Season-Ending Surgery

Brutal news for Taylor Hall and the Chicago Blackhawks, who've learned that the forward will have to undergo season-ending knee surgery.

Hall had the knee twisted in a collision with the Tampa Bay Lightning's Mikey Eyssimont on Nov. 9th. He left the ice in extreme pain:

He returned for two games this past weekend but has been out of the lineup since then, and it's now confirmed that it is an ACL injury.

It's a terrible blow for the Hawks, who brought in Hall in a trade with the Boston Bruins this past offseason to add another veteran presence to surround rookie Connor Bedard with.

Hall had posted 4 points in 10 games for Chicago.

In 14 NHL seasons, Hall has recorded 266 goals, 431 assists and 697 points in 832 games.

The Blackhawks have recalled forwards Joey Anderson and Cole Guttman from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
