"That's Just Terrible!": Panthers TV Crew Reacts to Barkov Injury

The Florida Panthers are still waiting to see how long they might have to make do without their captain Aleksander Barkov after a painful-looking knee-on-knee collision Friday night.

"That's not what you want to see," remarked Panthers' play-by-play man Steve Goldstein, as they watched Barkov slam knees with the Anaheim Ducks' Jackson LaCombe. Barkov was bent over in pain as he gingerly skated off the ice and didn't return.

"Ugh... That's just terrible!" added analyst and former NHL player Randy Moller as they watched the slow motion replay of the collision. You can even see Barkov's knee extend back the wrong way.

The Panthers are still waiting on some medical tests to determine how long they'll be without their second-leading scorer.

Barkov has been off to a strong start to the season, with 17 points in 16 games, on six goals and 11 assists, along with a team-leading plus/minus of +14.

On the bright side, the Panthers have won six of their last seven games, and finally got top defensemen Brandon Montour and Aaron Ekblad back in the lineup for the first time this season.
