Wild Acquire Zach Bogosian From Lightning

The Minnesota Wild have made their second trade of the day, this time acquiring veteran defenseman Zach Bogosian from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for a 2025 seventh-round pick.

The Wild recently traded Calen Addison to the San Jose Sharks. That opened up a spot on the right side of their defensive group, and now they have added Bogosian for it. The 33-year-old will not offer the same offense as Addison, but he provides more physicality and is a defensive defenseman.

Bogosian has appeared in four games with the Bolts this season, posting zero points and an even plus/minus rating.

Bogosian will now compete for a spot on the Wild's bottom pairing and should see time on their penalty kill.

Overall, it has been a busy day for the Wild. Could a third trade be on the way? We will need to wait and see.
