New York Rangers: The Rangers could use a bit more toughness in their bottom six, so they certainly could look to add Maroon this season. He would also give their bottom six more offense, which is something that it could truly use right now.

Tampa Bay Lightning: The Lightning could consider a reunion with Maroon this season. They moved him out primarily due to salary cap trouble. However, with salary retained, he would be a great addition to their fourth line again. He would also give them more experience and a player who has three Stanley Cups on their resume again.
