Winnipeg Jets' Roster Getting Big Boost

The Winnipeg Jets are getting one of their top forwards back soon, as Gabriel Vilardi has been activated off of injured reserve. With that, head coach Rick Bowness told reporters that Vilardi is a game-time decision for the club's contest against the Edmonton Oilers tonight (Nov. 30).

Even if Vilardi ends up sitting tonight, it is clear that his return is on the way. This is good news for the Jets, as the 24-year-old forward is expected to be a key part of the Jets' roster this season. With that, he has not played since Oct. 17 against the Los Angeles Kings, so it has been a good amount of time since his last appearance.

Vilardi has played in only three games this season with the Jets, where he has one assist. Now that he has been activated off of injured reserve, he will now look to make a big impact for the Jets moving forward. He should do just that, as he had 23 goals and 41 points in 63 games just last season with the Kings.

Nevertheless, this is good news for a Jets team looking for a boost. Let's see how much of an impact he can make from here.
