Capitals' Carbery Provides Big Max Pacioretty Update
Exciting news out of DC, as Washington Capitals forward Max Pacioretty could make his season debut right after the Christmas break, according to head coach Spencer Carbery.
It has been a long road for Pacioretty, as he has been recovering from his second Achilles tear in a year. However, given this latest update from Carbery, we should finally see the veteran winger get back into action.
Pacioretty inked a one-year deal with the Caps during the offseason, and it was expected that he would miss a decent chunk of the start of the season. However, the Caps are now getting a big boost to their forward group right as they try to climb up in the heavily competitive Metropolitan Division.
It will be a lot of fun to see how well Pacioretty performs once he officially gets back into action. If he still produces as well as he is known for, he will be a big-time addition to their top six.
