According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, John Gibson and Frank Vatrano of the Anaheim Ducks are two notable players who have generated interest in the trade market.

Gibson has been in the rumor mill for quite some time, and it makes sense. Anaheim is rebuilding, and Gibson could be a player who lands the club a big return. This is especially so when noting that he has had a nice bounce-back season with the Ducks so far in 2023-24. With that, teams around the league need goalie help, and he is one of the best options potentially available.

As for Vatrano, he has had a strong season, and the Ducks could look to move him while he has good trade value. He is proving to be a solid top-six forward this season, and he is also under contract for multiple years. Because of this, he certainly would be a nice addition for a playoff team looking for a boost.
