Jack Eichel Reveals He Was Almost Traded to 2 Other Teams

The Buffalo Sabres were looking to move on from Jack Eichel a couple of seasons ago and while everything has worked out in spades for Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights, it turns out Vegas wasn't the only one hot on Eichel's tail.

In a recent podcast episode, Eichel opened up about the experiencing of getting dealt from the Sabres and shined a light on just how many other teams were interested and a couple who were close. The Calgary Flames and Colorado Avalanche were the two closest teams to land Eichel before the Golden Knights swooped in. How things could have been so much different for Calgary these days and the Avs would have been scary good with the American star joining forces.
