Kraken Rumors: Seattle Receiving Trade Calls on Adam Larsson
Adam Larsson was a part of one of the most talked about trades in NHL history when he was flipped one-for-one for Taylor Hall. Now, a big part of the Seattle Kraken's blue line, Larsson is once again a subject of trade talk.
Elliotte Friedman on 32 Thoughts named Larsson as someone who seems to be generating a ton of interest on the rumor mill. The Kraken need some help up front so it could make some sense for them to flip their right-handed defenseman for some more fire power.
Friedman on 32TP says he was asked about Adam Larsson in Seattle, Kraken need a scorer. However, not sure if the Kraken would consider moving him, a lot of teams like him as a player.

Larsson is a bruising presence on the back end, who brings a ton of sandpaper to his game. So far this season, the 31-year-old has appeared in 28 games, recording seven points along with 51 hits and 53 blocked shots. He's a great penalty killer and could be a solid right-handed addition to a contending team's top four.
Larsson is owed $4 million this season and through next year as well, his trade protection covers him against 10 teams of his choice, so it's certainly a moveable contract by Kraken GM Ron Francis.
The New Jersey Devils are in the market for a righty, and so too are the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Kraken sit already five points out of a playoff spot in the Western Conference and could quickly turn into sellers this season.
