NHL Rumors: Insider Announces Big Jesse Puljujarvi Update
Jesse Puljujarvi is one of the most notable free agents still available for the taking as we inch closer to Christmas. The former top prospect had bilateral hip resurfacing surgery this past offseason, but he has now taken a big step forward in his recovery. Per NHL insider Chris Johnston, Puljujarvi has been cleared by doctors for full-contact training.
At the end of a week where NHLers with hip-related ailments were in the spotlight, there is word that Jesse Puljujärvi has been cleared by doctors for full-contact training.

He's working his way back from a bilateral hip resurfacing last summer and remains a free agent.
With this development, Puljujarvi is now another step closer to returning to action. Because of this, interest in the 25-year-old winger is expected to increase from here.
Teams in need of some help in their bottom six or dealing with some injury trouble could take a chance on Puljujarvi. While he had just 16 points in 75 games last season, he also had 36 points in 65 games just the season before. Perhaps he can bounce back.
We will now need to wait and see what happens with Puljujarvi from here. Now that he is cleared for contact, don't be surprised if more teams pursue him.
