Red Wings Rumors: 2 Potential Trade Destinations for James Reimer

With Alex Lyon's strong play and Ville Husso having multiple years left on his contract, James Reimer has emerged as a prime trade candidate over these last few weeks. He has a nice deal, and teams looking for some insurance in goal could consider adding him. Let's go over two possible landing spots for him now.

Los Angeles Kings: The Kings could be on the hunt for another goaltender this season. While Cam Talbot has been excellent for LA, Pheonix Copley has struggled mightily. Because of this, Reimer could make sense as an experienced backup netminder for the Kings.

Tampa Bay Lightning: The Tampa Bay Lightning could also look for goalie help this season. Andrei Vasilevskiy will, of course, be their starter now that he is healthy, but Reimer would be a pretty nice upgrade over Jonas Johansson if acquired.
