Blues Rumors: Veteran Defenseman Named Top Trade Candidate

The 33-year-old may not fetch a lot, but as a third-pair player who can play on the penalty kill, he could yield the Blues as high as a third-round draft pick."

Scandella, 33, has appeared in 43 games this season for the Blues, where he has two goals, three assists, 46 hits, and a plus-2 rating. While he has not been dominating the NHL offensively by any stretch, his steady defensive play could lead to some teams calling, as Rutherford notes.
