Coyotes Rumors: 4 Players Expected to Be Moved By Deadline

The Arizona Coyotes are heading in the right direction, and that is great to see from the rebuilding squad. However, even with the 2023-24 season being a far better one for them, their playoff hopes are still looking low, and they are likely to be sellers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline again because of it.

The Coyotes are unlikely to part ways with any of their key players like Clayton Keller, Lawson Crouse, or Nick Schmaltz, but there are some other names who could be dealt before the March 8th NHL Trade Deadline. According to Frank Seravalli, four Coyotes to watch over these next handful of weeks include Jason Zucker, Matt Dumba, Josh Brown, and Troy Stecher.

With all four of these players having expiring contracts, it is not too surprising to hear that Seravalli views them as the club's top trade candidates. Zucker and Dumba were inked to one-year deals during the offseason, and the expectation has since been that they would be dealt before the deadline is here. Meanwhile, Brown and Stecher could certainly grab some attention around the league, as playoff clubs always need defensive depth, and they have affordable cap hits.

We will now need to wait and see what the Coyotes do with these four players from here. Zucker and Dumba have the potential to get them decent returns, while Brown and Stetcher would likely get them a later-round pick.
