Hurricanes Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Michael Bunting
Carolina Hurricanes forward Michael Bunting has been picking up some steam in the rumor mill as of late, as teams have contacted the Canes about his availability. The gritty winger has had a solid start to the season, but the Hurricanes also need cap space to get a starting goaltender. Because of this, let's go over three possible landing spots for him now.
Colorado Avalanche: The Colorado Avalanche could use a boost in their top six, so Bunting would make sense as a trade target for them. He would fit nicely on their second line and be a major addition to their power play if acquired. With that, he would give them a bit more grit, which would certainly be appreciated during the playoffs.
Florida Panthers: The Florida Panthers have been looking to improve their forward group. As a result, it would not be too surprising if they entered the Bunting sweepstakes. He also would be a great fit in their system and would work on their power play. Because of this, the Panthers are another team to watch when it comes to Bunting.
Dallas Stars: The Dallas Stars could also use a boost in their top six, so they would make sense as a potential landing spot for Bunting. They have been connected to wingers all season, and Bunting would be a nice addition to their group.
We will need to wait and see if any of these three teams land Bunting this season from here.
