Rangers Rumors: Insider Names 3 Potential Targets for Blueshirts
NHL insider Frank Seravalli recently released a trade deadline objectives piece for each team in the Eastern Conference. When it came to the New York Rangers, Seravalli noted that their primary goal should be to add a third-line center due to Filip Chytil's concussion. With that, he listed Sean Monahan, Adam Henrique, and Kevin Hayes as potential options for the Blueshirts.
Monahan is expected to be moved by the Montreal Canadiens, as they are rebuilding, and he is in the final season of his contract. Monahan would be a nice addition to the Rangers' third line due to his excellent playmaking ability. With that, he would also be a nice fit on their power play because of his high offensive IQ.

Henrique also stands out as a solid potential addition for the Rangers. He is a veteran forward with plenty of overall experience, and he would be a great leader for them to bring in. With that, he also plays a steady two-way game and can play the wing, so he would give them plenty of versatility if acquired.
As for Hayes, he is well known with the Rangers, as he started his career there. With the St. Louis Blues struggling yet again, his name has been coming up in trade chatter, and it would be intriguing to see him brought back to New York. He would work well there as their 3C because he provides good secondary scoring.
