Senators Rumors: 3 Teams Linked to Jakob Chychrun
The Ottawa Senators are having a bad season, and defenseman Jakob Chychrun has been picking up a ton of steam in the rumor mill because of it. There are rumblings that the Sens are willing to hear offers for him, and now we have an idea of what teams are interested in him. According to The Fourth Period, the Calgary Flames, Washington Capitals, and Los Angeles Kings are linked to him.

The Flames are in a position to add to the left side of their defensive group. They traded Nikita Zadorov earlier this season to the Vancouver Canucks, while Noah Hanifin is expected to be moved due to his pending UFA status. Thus, bringing in a star defenseman like Chychrun would be very worthwhile for the Flames if possible.
The Capitals have been looking to improve their roster in all areas. This is because they are currently fighting for a playoff spot in the competitive Eastern Conference. When noting that their left side could use a legitimate top-pairing defenseman, it would make sense for them to make a big push for Chychrun over these next several weeks.
As for the Kings, they have been struggling significantly as of late and would be wise to make some changes to their group because of it. The left side of their defensive group is a weak part of their roster, so bringing in a player like Chychrun would be massive for them.
