Sharks Rumors: 3 Teams to Target Anthony Duclair
The San Jose Sharks have a disastrous 9-28-3 record and have lost 11 straight games. Needless to say, they are going to be sellers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline, and one player who is expected to be moved is winger Anthony Duclair. He is on an expiring deal, and teams looking to add more scoring to their middle six are certainly going to target him. Let's discuss three teams who are expected to make a push to acquire him now.
New York Rangers: The New York Rangers are among the top teams in the NHL, so they naturally will be buyers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. One area that they will be looking to improve is the right wing position, so a reunion with Duclair could make sense for them. He would fit in their middle six and give them a boost on the power play.
Boston Bruins: While the Boston Bruins need help down the middle, it also could be argued that they would benefit by adding to their depth on the wing. The Bruins could use a bit more scoring from their wingers, and Duclair would give them just that. He would be a nice fit on their second line and work on their second power-play unit.
Vegas Golden Knights: The Vegas Golden Knights have been struggling after their outstanding start to the season. Due to this, they are expected to make some additions to their roster. They would benefit by adding to their middle six, so don't be surprised if they make a push for Duclair over these next several weeks.
