3 Veteran Wingers Being Linked To Golden Knights

The Vegas Golden Knights have once again lost Mark Stone to a serious injury in time to fill the void before the trade deadline. With a ton of cap space freed up, there aren't many limitations to what the team can do this season to upgrade. There are very few players who can replace the two-way ability of Stone, but there are some strong veteran options to at least help contribute if they are targeted. The Golden Knights do everything they can to win, so making much-needed upgrades to a weak forward group at the moment is something that will happen.

Ben Gotz reported that Jordan Eberle, Jason Zucker, and Vladimir Tarasenko are some options for the Golden Knights at the trade deadline. They are all UFAs after the season and all have a lot of playoff experience. The market is more flooded with wingers ahead of the trade deadline this season, so the Golden Knights won't be paying top dollar to acquire the help they need in order to repeat.

Tarasenko is the most intriguing name of the three since he has been linked to Vegas more than the other two. He is also the only one with a Stanley Cup. Tarasenko is having a pretty good season with 37 points and can snipe when he wants to.

Eberle has been very good in the playoffs after his debut in the postseason in Edmonton. He is a great teammate and would be someone the Golden Knights would greatly benefit from having on their team. As for Zucker, his season isn't going as expected offensively on a bad Arizona Coyotes team, but that may make it so his value drops even further below Tarasenko and Eberle's. Zucker is a physical player and can score as he has proved throughout his career. We'll have to wait and see what is done with the Golden Knights since they have the space to make multiple additions this season if they want to.
