Bruins Linked To Ducks' Veteran

The Boston Bruins are in the midst of another season in which the players have proven they deserve help coming in at the deadline to make a push for the Stanley Cup. While the defense and goaltending is strong, the forward group could use some help in multiple areas. That being said, there is a great option on the Anaheim Ducks that has been linked to the Bruins.

David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period reported that the Bruins have been linked to Adam Henrique ahead of the trade deadline this season. Henrique is a UFA at the end of the season with a cap hit of $5.825 million AAV. The Ducks have more than enough cap space and will likely have to retain half of that.

Henrique is having another strong season as the top line winger on the Ducks with 15 goals and 35 points in 52 games. Anaheim has been fortunate enough to see the veteran stay healthy this entire year and not diminish any trade value he holds.

The 34-year-old logs a ton of minutes at all strengths and as someone who is responsible in his own end, would fit in great on the Bruins. Whether Boston uses him on the wing in the middle-six or at center, it would give them even more options down the stretch and into the postseason. It remains to be seen just how much value Henrique holds and if the Bruins are going to have to part with a first-round pick. In that case, it would have to be their first rounder next season as they used their 2024 pick last trade deadline.
