Capitals Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Max Pacioretty
The Washington Capitals are falling down in the standings, and there is a good chance that they will be sellers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline because of it. One player who has been picking up some attention in the rumor mill because of it is forward Max Pacioretty. Since returning from injury, he has been solid for the Capitals, and there could be interest in him over these next few weeks due to this. Let’s discuss three teams that could target him now.
Colorado Avalanche: The Avalanche are going to be looking to add to their roster before the deadline passes. They could use a bit more scoring in their top nine, and Pacioretty would give them just that. With that, he would be a nice addition to their power play.
New York Rangers: The Rangers are likely to add another winger to their roster before the deadline passes, and Pacioretty could be a good, low-risk, high-reward kind of addition for them. He could fit on their second line and also would give them more scoring in the process.
Los Angeles Kings: It has been a tough month or so for the Kings, and they are gearing up to make some moves because of it. They would be wise to add another forward to their roster, and Pacioretty would have the potential to improve their group. He would give them another leader to work with due to his immense experience, and this would especially be helpful during the playoffs.
