Capitals Rumors: Nic Dowd Linked to Atlantic Team

The Washington Capitals have been struggling as of late, and they have dropped in the standings because of it. While their playoff hopes are not entirely crushed, it is starting to seem like that they will be sellers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline.

One player who has been generating a lot of attention in the rumor mill as of late is forward Nic Dowd. Teams looking for some help in their bottom six are expected to target him, and one team who has been connected to him is the Boston Bruins.

The Bruins are one of the top teams in the NHL this season, but their recent struggles are showing that they need to make some moves before the deadline. Their bottom six needs a boost, and Dowd would surely give them that. This is because he provides decent secondary scoring to go along with solid defensive play and grit. Thus, he would be a big addition for a playoff club like the Bruins.
