Devils Rumors: 3 Potential Suitors for Tyler Toffoli

The New Jersey Devils currently do not hold a playoff spot and are five points behind the Tampa Bay Lightning for the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. If they struggle over their next stretch of games before the trade deadline is here, there is a chance that they will be sellers. Because of this, winger Tyler Toffoli has been starting to create some chatter as a potential trade candidate. If he does not sign an extension and officially gets shopped, expect these three clubs to be in the mix for his services.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings have been browsing the trade market for scoring wingers due to the multiple injuries they are dealing with. As a result, they certainly could explore the prospect of reuniting with Toffoli. Toffoli had a strong tenure there, and he would give their top six a nice boost for the upcoming postseason if acquired.

Vegas Golden Knights: The Vegas Golden Knights have also been looking to add to their top six due to Mark Stone being out week-to-week. Bringing in Toffoli would strengthen their group significantly, as it would give them another quality sniper to work with.

Edmonton Oilers: The Edmonton Oilers have also been linked to multiple forwards in recent weeks. If they Devils opt to shop Toffoli, they would very likely make a push for him as well. He would be an obvious fit in their top six and would make the Oilers an even tougher team to go up against in the postseason.
