The center trade market took a big hit over the last week, as both Elias Lindholm and Sean Monahan have found their new homes. Because of this, while on the NHL Network, NHL insider David Pagnotta was asked about what teams are interested in Henrique. Pagnotta noted that all the teams that were interested in Lindholm and Monahan are now targeting Henrique. He then specifically listed the New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, Colorado Avalanche, Boston Bruins, and Carolina Hurricanes.
Pagnotta then noted that Henrique's versatility and the Ducks' willingness to retain of his cap hit are making him an even more appealing trade target.
Henrique has been connected to a few of these teams over the last several weeks, but now with two of the trade market's centers off of the board, it appears that his sweepstakes are significantly picking up.
Henrique is also having a great season, and that naturally is improving his trade value. In 49 games this season, he has 15 goals to go along with 33 points.
