Flyers Rumors: 5 Top Landing Spots Named for Sean Walker

Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Sean Walker is expected to be traded before the deadline, as he is a pending unrestricted, and the club is in the middle of a rebuild. As a result, he is already garnering a ton of interest in the trade market, and that will only continue until an official move comes to fruition.

As a result of this, The Bleacher Report's Lyle Richardson listed the Dallas Stars, New Jersey Devils, Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Vancouver Canucks as the top landing spots for Walker.

It is not a secret that each of these teams could use a defenseman like Walker. This is because they each would benefit from improving their right sides. When noting that Walker is having a strong season and has been playing especially well defensively, he would be a big-time pickup for any of the clubs listed above.

There has been a lot of interest in Walker for a good portion of this season. Because of this, as we get close to the trade deadline, it feels inevitable that the right-shot defenseman will be moved to a contender. Besides the five teams listed by Richardson, some other teams who have been connected to Walker include the Boston Bruins, Colorado Avalanche, and Florida Panthers.

Walker, 29, has appeared in 56 games this season, where he has five goals, 20 points, and a plus-10 rating. Overall, it has been a good season for him, and it will be interesting to see what team he ends up finishing it with from here.
