Kraken Rumors: Latest On Jordan Eberle's Trade Market

Seattle Kraken forward Jordan Eberle is a very interesting name to watch as we get closer to the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. While it has been reported that the Kraken's hope is to sign him to an extension before March 8, they may have no choice but to deal him if they cannot come to terms on a new contract.

As a result of this, Eberle has been starting to generate interest around the NHL. According to The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta, the Edmonton Oilers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Los Angeles Kings, and Florida Panthers are four clubs who could be eyeing the veteran winger.

There is no question that each of these teams could use a player like Eberle in their middle six. This is because he is still very productive at this juncture of his career. Along with that, besides his skill, he also would provide each of these teams with more leadership and experience.

With the Kraken's playoff hopes continuing to get lower, there seems to be a pretty good chance that Eberle will get dealt if they cannot come to terms on a new contract. He's too good of a player to potentially lose for nothing, and they could get a decent return for him in a trade because of it.

We will now need to wait and see if any of these clubs end up acquiring Eberle before the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline passes from here.
