Los Angeles Kings Getting Major Boost

The Los Angeles Kings are getting a big boost with their forward group, as they have activated Viktor Arvidsson off of long-term injured reserve.

This is huge news, as Arvidsson has been out for the entirety of the season. However, with this removal from LTIR, he is now set to return to the lineup.

This is very good timing for the Kings, as they have been struggling immensely for over a month now and have dropped significantly in the standings in the process. As a result, getting Arvidsson back has the potential to help them turn things back around. Keep in mind, team scoring has been an issue for the club as of late.

Arvidsson, 30, had a strong season for the Kings last season, as he had 26 goals to go along with 59 points in 77 games played. With that, he was productive during the club's short playoff run last season, as he had one goal and seven points in six games.

Arvidsson's goal will now be to help improve the Kings' offense as they look to get their season back on track. While they still have a wild card spot, if their struggles continue, they could find themselves out of a playoff spot in the near future.

With Arvidsson being activated off of long-term injured reserve, the Kings have also placed Carl Grundstrom and Blake Lizotte on long-term injured reserve.
