Maple Leafs Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Nick Robertson
The Toronto Maple Leafs are preparing to be notable buyers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. While this is the case, one of their younger players, Nick Robertson, has been discussed heavily in the rumor mill as a trade candidate. Because of this, let's discuss three teams who could express interest in him over the next two weeks.
Calgary Flames: The Calgary Flames are standing out as a possible landing spot for Robertson. This is because the Maple Leafs have been linked to both Noah Hanifin and Chris Tanev. Robertson could be a nice piece added to a package to land one of the two. Calgary also needs more forward depth, so taking a chance on Robertson could be worthwhile for them.
Anaheim Ducks: The Anaheim Ducks are in the middle of a rebuild. As a result of this, they are in a position to take a chance on a player with promise like Robertson. He would be an obvious fit in their top nine and would, of course, work on their power play if acquired.
Dallas Stars: The Dallas Stars could use a bit more help in their bottom six, especially with Evgenii Dadonov out indefinitely. Because of this, they could consider the idea of bringing in Robertson to give him the amazing opportunity to play with his brother, Jason Robertson. He would also give the Stars more forward depth, so there could be a fit here.
