NHL Rumors: Bruins & Kraken Becoming Possible Trade Partners
The Boston Bruins are one of the top teams in the NHL, and they are going to be buyers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline because of it. One area that they are looking to improve is on the wing, and they are browsing the trade market because of it.
The Seattle Kraken, on the other hand, are not a guaranteed playoff team and could be sellers this season because of it. One payer who has been picking up a lot of steam in the rumor mill is pending UFA Jordan Eberle because of this. With the Bruins needing help on the wing, he is standing out as a possible trade target for them.
Eberle would give the Bruins more production in their middle six if acquired. He could slot in nicely on their second line and would also be a clear option for their power play if acquired.
With Eberle having an expiring deal, it is quite likely that the Kraken would be willing to retain half of his salary, and this is especially so if the Bruins offer up a bit more for him in response to it. As a result, it is a potential move that would benefit both teams.
We will need to wait and see if the Bruins and Kraken end up striking a deal before the trade deadline passes from here.
