Predators Rumors: 4 Teams Connected to Juuse Saros
The Nashville Predators are gearing up for a massive 2024 NHL Trade Deadline for them. They notably have a major decision to make with star goaltender Juuse Saros. With Yaroslav Askarov waiting in the wings, the Predators could very well move Saros and take advantage of his very high trade value to improve their roster elsewhere.
Teams around the league have been starting to express interest in Saros because of this. According to The Fourth Period's latest Trade Watch List for the upcoming deadline, the New Jersey Devils, Ottawa Senators, Colorado Avalanche, and Los Angeles Kings are all linked to the star netminder.
The Devils, Avalanche, and Kings have been eyeing goalies for much of this season, and Saros would be a massive addition for each of them. He would instantly become the starting goalie for each of these teams and help them become even bigger threats.
As for the Senators, they are well out of the playoff race and have disappointed immensely this season. One reason for that has been their inconsistent goaltending, so bringing in a proven number-one goalie like Saros would be massive for them. With that, he makes sense for the Sens, as he would be more than a rental if acquired.
The Predators are not necessarily guaranteed to move Saros, but the chances of it happening have been increasing in recent weeks. Let's see if one of these four clubs ends up landing him before the deadline passes from here.
