Predators Rumors: Young Forward Generating Trade Interest

The Nashville Predators are being discussed a lot in the rumor mill right now. This is primarily because star goaltender Juuse Saros is one of the top trade candidates heading into the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. However, he is not the only Predators player who could end up being dealt by March 8.

According to NHL insider David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, Cody Glass is one Predators forward who has been causing some chatter in the NHL trade market as of late.

Glass, 24, has had a bit of a down season in 2023-24, as he has two goals, six points, and a minus-13 rating in 29 games. It certainly has been a step in the wrong direction for the former top prospect, as he had 14 goals and 35 points in 72 games just last season. As a result, maybe a change of scenery could help him get his game back on track.

There's no question that Glass is a solid player when playing at his best and could be a strong third-line forward on a new team. With that, he also could help a club looking to improve their second power-play unit, as he is an offensive threat when he is heating up.

Some teams who could consider taking a shot on Glass include the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins. Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks, and Philadelphia Flyers.

We will need to wait and see if Glass ends up getting moved before the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline passes from here.
