Senators Rumors: 3 Teams Linked to Vladimir Tarasenko

The Ottawa Senators are gearing up to be sellers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. It is understandable, as the 2023-24 season has been a disaster for them. As a result of this, one player who is expected to be moved is pending UFA Vladimir Tarasenko.

Tarasenko is starting to generate some interest around the league, too, as The Fourth Period is reporting that the Florida Panthers, New York Islanders, and Colorado Avalanche are all currently eyeing Tarasenko on the trade market.

The Panthers certainly could use another top-six winger on their roster, so it makes sense that they are making a push for Tarasenko. He would work nicely on their second line, and he would also be a major addition to their power play.

The Islanders have been in need of another scoring winger for multiple seasons now, and they have been connected to Tarasenko in the past because of it. With the Islanders looking to jump up in the standings, now is the time for them to bring in a high-impact forward like Tarasenko.

As for the Avalanche, their biggest need is to add a top-six center. However, with Sean Monahan and Elias Lindholm being dealt, they now may be focusing their attention on bringing in a top-six winger like Tarasenko instead. He would be a great fit there if acquired.
