Sharks Rumors: 3 Teams Linked to Logan Couture

The San Jose Sharks are in the middle of a major rebuild and are clear sellers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. Because of this, one player on their roster who has been picking up a lot of steam in the rumor mill as of late is captain Logan Couture. It has been reported that the Sharks are willing to hear offers.

Due to this, Couture is starting to generate some interest around the league. According to The Fourth Period, the Nashville Predators, Ottawa Senators, and Buffalo Sabres are all linked to the Sharks captain.

The Predators have been connected to Couture in the past, so hearing that he is on their radar again is not all that surprising. They are in the middle of a retooling period and could use a high-impact player like Couture in their top six.

The Senators are desperately looking to improve after another unsuccessful season. While this season is essentially over for them, they could use a player like Couture for next season and beyond, as he would fit in their top six. With that, he would give them another leader to help mentor their younger players.

The Sabres have been connected to a few veteran centers over the last few weeks, and Couture is just the latest. While the Sabres have plenty of forwards, they could use another leader on their roster as they try to turn things around.

We will need to wait and see what happens with Couture from here. However, when noting that he is injured, a trade during the summer may be more likely.
