Stars Rumors: 4 Forwards Named as Possible Trade Targets

The Dallas Stars are entering the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline as clear buyers. It is understandable, as they are one of the top teams in the NHL and are looking to improve their roster even further as they prepare for the postseason. However, they were also given some tough injury news, as Tyler Seguin is out week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

Due to this, The Fourth Period recently reported that the Stars could look to add a forward before the deadline if Seguin's injury keeps him out long-term. From there, TFP listed Jake Guentzel (Pittsburgh Penguins), Adam Henrique (Anaheim Ducks), Vladimir Tarasenko (Ottawa Senators), and Anthony Duclair (San Jose Sharks) as possible targets.

Out of this trio, Guentzel would, of course, be the most notable addition, as he is a legitimate star who consistently produces at a point-per-game pace. With the Stars being contenders, they are in a position to make a big splash and bring in a player like Guentzel.

Adding one of Henrique, Tarasenko, or Duclair would also still be good for the Stars, though, as they would each help boost their middle six for the final portion of the season. Each are among the top rentals of this year's deadline, so the Stars would have plenty of competition to try to land them.

We will need to wait and see if Dallas ends up bringing in one of these four forwards before the deadline passes from here.
