Coyotes Rumors: 3 Free Agents to Target This Offseason
Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' 2024 Free-Agent Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three pending unrestricted free agents that each team should aim to sign.
In this latest edition of the series, we will be looking at the Arizona Coyotes.
Sean Monahan: With the Coyotes looking to move out of their rebuilding stage, they should look to bring in a notable pending UFA like Sean Monahan. There is no question that they would benefit by adding a top-six forward, and Monahan would give them just that.
Erik Gustafsson: The Coyotes' blue line could use a bit more offense, so one player who could make sense for them to target is Erik Gustafsson. He is having a pretty solid season with the New York Rangers and could fit in nicely in the Coyotes' top four and on their power play. He also would provide them with a bit more leadership because of his high amount of experience.
Danton Heinen: Danton Heinen is an under-the-radar pending UFA who is quietly having a strong season with the Boston Bruins. If the Coyotes landed him, he would work in their middle six and would also give their power play a bit of a boost as well.
