Carolina Hurricanes forward Teuvo Teravainen has quietly been having a solid season. In 69 games played, he has 21 goals to go along with 47 points. Because of this, the pending UFA is setting himself up for a nice payday for his next contract. If he does indeed hit the free-agent market this summer, look for these three teams to be in the mix for his services.

New York Islanders: The New York Islanders would be wise to try to add to their top six this offseason. Teravainen would be a great addition to their group, as he would work on both their power play and their penalty kill if signed.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings could be on the hunt for scoring this offseason. This is especially so when noting that Viktor Arvidsson is a pending UFA who they could end up losing. As a result, they are certainly a club to watch when it comes to Teravainen.

Pittsburgh Penguins: The Pittsburgh Penguins have had such a disappointing season. Their goal this summer will be to build a better roster around Sidney Crosby. They need to give him another impactful winger, so Teravainen is one player who they could target.
